What you should know about Snowshoe Camp
Slide ShowSnowshoe Camp is a 4season housekeeping style resort located on the scenic Wakomata Lake. There is also a pool table and ping pong table. If nature does not provide all of the entertainment to fulfill your needs, our recreation hall has Satellite TV and is loaded with board games, puzzles and books for all ages. We have electricity but do not provide radios or televisions. There is a sand beach, a paddleboat, canoes, boat and motor rentals, fish cleaning hut, sheltered boat docks, barbeques and laundry facilities. The lake is surrounded by a Provincial Park and Crown Land with sand beaches and rocky shorelines to explore as well as trails to inland lakes.Our resort is located 3 miles from the highway, where you will be accommodated in a private, clean, well equipped cabin. This lake is deep, Small Mouth Bass, clean and home to Lake Trout, Pike and Perch. Outdoors, we have swings, tetherball and a horseshoe pit.
